Fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty (1547) and Green House Data have formed a partnership to build a concurrently maintainable data center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The data center will provide 35,000 gross square feet with 5MW of critical load. The data center will sit adjacent to Green House Data’s existing 10,000-square-foot data center on a site with some 20 acres of land available for future expansions. The project’s first phase of 5,000 square feet of net sellable space is underway and will become available in late Q1 2014.
Fifteenfortyseven expects to add more data centers on the site to create a planned, multi-building data center campus serving not only the Cheyenne market but also the emerging major market of Denver just 90 miles south of Cheyenne to offer customers wholesale, retail and cloud colocation services for high power density customers. The data center campus also features 100Gbps network capacity with redundancy across four network carriers and low latency to the major data center hubs in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas.
