Event Recap: Fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty Pittock Block Tour & Happy Hour

After more than a year of Zoom sessions and digital conferences, fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty (1547) was excited to co-host an in-person open house event with Packetfabric and Nokia at the newest data center in our portfolio, the historic Pittock Block in downtown Portland, Oregon. The event provided the opportunity for existing and new industry friends to network and (re)connect.

In this data-driven age, of globally competitive markets, businesses need to have the right data center presence and connectivity to build a winning digital architecture. That’s why we were excited to show off some of 1547 plans for The Pittock Block.

The Pittock Block is a vital carrier hotel, colocation data center, and office building in downtown Portland, and home to one of only two primary Internet Exchanges (IXs) throughout the Northwest – with over 179 service providers. We recognize its potential for even greater growth in connectivity and access into the future. Therefore, we have committed to a major investment for the renovation of The Pittock Block.

Strategically located east of Hillsboro, Portland is one of the fastest-growing data center submarkets globally and is an ideal location for companies seeking to access the Pacific Northwest and Asia markets. The Pittock Block is unique in its quantity of network providers and connectivity for any region. The Pittock Block has over 179 providers with a variety of specialties who can help you determine the best combination of infrastructure and connectivity to suit your business requirements.

1547 VP of Sales and Strategy Joseph Rydarowski said: ‘’Collectively those attending were impressed by the significant interconnectivity that takes place in this historic carrier hotel and intrigued to see our vision for the next generation of data center growth in the facility.’’

We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to our sponsors and everyone who attended the day.
