It’s Celebration Time! Cheyenne Data Center Grand Opening
The data center market in Wyoming continues to grow and proof of this growth can be found in Cheyenne. Industry veterans of fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty (1547) and Green House Data have done the analysis and are poised to unveil their new energy efficient data center facility in Cheyenne.
Following an extensive planning process, a ground breaking ceremony took place in August 2013. In little more than a year later, the doors are now ready to officially be opened on July 30, 2014. The Grand Opening Celebration will begin at 1:00PM with Governor Matt Mead serving as guest speaker for the occasion.
The Road to Wyoming
This project is one of the first steps in the execution of a partnership between 1547 and Green House Data to develop a planned, multi-building data center campus. The site is strategically placed 90 miles north of Denver and will offer wholesale, retail and cloud colocation services for high power density customers. The data center campus also features 100Gbps network capacity with redundancy across four network carriers and low latency to the major data center hubs in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas.

To complete the project, 1547 relied on in-house expertise for planning, facility architectural and engineering execution, and all phases in between. The completed Cheyenne data center will showcase 35,000 sq. ft. of data center space; 7,500 sq. ft. of office space with conference room, office space and a break room.
